401 Photography works with schools to make everything from photo day to yearbook easy and efficient with a minimum time commitment from you.

We offer student photos in both studio style with an array of backgrounds as well as photos in outdoor natural settings all while making sure to have a uniform look to compliment your yearbook style.

Photo Days

School Photo days are designed to run quickly and efficiently whether we photograph inside with a backdrop and studio setting or outdoor in natural light. Our systems allow us to tag each photo we take to a specific student helping to keep track of all photos taken. We request the student info ahead of photo day from the school which makes it easy for the students and teachers as all they have to do is tell us their name. No order forms or info to keep track of.

We can have one photo day for your school or break it up into multiple days to make the schools different schedules work.

After Photo Day

Once photo days are complete the photos are edited and retouched and put online for the parents to order. Emails will go directly to the parents with a link to ONLY their students photos and class photos. Private links for each parent make it more efficient for the parents and safe and secure as no one see or order anyone else's photos.

Our phone number and contact email is on all parent communication so the school is taken out of the ordering process. All prints are mailed directly to the parents and all communication goes straight to us rather than your schools staff.

Yearbooks

Yearbooks can be complicated and we do our best to make the process of student photos as easy as possible for your staff. We work with your yearbook staff to make sure all photos are calibrated and sized exactly to your needs. Whether you use the standard PSPA format and Text file Spreadsheet used by most yearbook companies or you design everything yourself we are always available to help.

How do I book a school photo day?

Booking is easy! Simply contact us through our website, email us at 401photographyhouston@gmail.com, or give us a call at 346.542.1614 to discuss availability and details.

Do you provide yearbook files?

Yes! We provide student photos and class photos for yearbooks. All photos are calibrated and sized according to PSPA formats used by yearbook companies or your own design needs. Yearbook files are free for the school.

Do you provide marketing photos for the school?

We are happy to work with the school to help cover school events and set up photos sessions for your school marketing needs. These sessions typically have an hourly rate.

When will the parents receive their photo links?

Parents will receive their private photo links within three weeks of the final photo day. All orders will be mailed directly to the parents and all digital image orders can be downloaded at time of purchase.

Is there any cost to your school

In most cases there is no charge to the school. Payments come from parents orders. Contact us and we can explain all the specific payment details.

Does the school have to deal with order forms or delivery?

No! With our online ordering system all photo orders and payments are done online and prints are mailed directly to the parents.

Do you donate faculty and staff photos?

Yes, faculty and staff headshots are complimentary. Typically they are taken on photo day, however we can set up a specific day to take them all at one time if needed.

Do you have any special services for seniors?

Yes, we are happy to set up a senior day to photograph senior portraits and cap and gown photos for your seniors.

For any parents or students that would like a senior session we provide these as well.
